Booking classes

Q1: When does your booking for classes open?

A A1: Get ready to mark your calendars! Our class booking opens up a sweet 16 days in advance. Yep, you read that right – 16 days to plan your yoga journey with us. We love a good plan, don't you? ✅

Q2: What is your cancelation policy

A: We get it – life happens! Our cancellation policy gives you the flexibility you need. You've got until 8 hours before the class to cancel. Just a heads-up, though: there's a nightly blackout on the system. So, if you've got an early morning class, make sure to cancel before 10 PM the night before. We've got your back! 🌙

Q2: How does the waitlist work?

A: Curious about our waitlist? Here's the scoop: If a class is full, hop on our waitlist through our nifty system. If you don't see the option, it means our waitlist is full too – popular, right?

Now, here's how it works: If a spot opens up more than a day before class, voilà! You're automatically added to the class. Just remember, you've got 8 hours to cancel if plans change. If someone cancels closer to class time, keep an eye on your inbox. We'll shoot you an email letting you know a spot's up for grabs. If you're game, claim it and you're in! 🌟

New to the studio?

Q1: What's the best package to start with?

A The 'New To The Studio’ Package is the best way to get started with us. Get 3 classes for the price of 2 and you have 1 month to use them (starting from the day of your first class).Talk about a sweet deal!

Q2: Can I mix and match classes with the various packages?

A: Flexibility is our middle name! All our current packages all your to book into any class that suits your schedule and preferences.

Q3: What have you got at The Hot Yoga Studio?

A: We are a small studio, so as soon as you walk through the front door you will feel the heat.

With this in mind we ask you to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before class and to be conscious of closing the door right after you.

You can bring your phone and belongings into the space - but bare in mind it gets hot. Please make sure any phones are turned off or put on silent and left with your shoes by door.

We ask that you take off your shoes before walking to place your mat down so we can keep the floor clean.

We have one bathroom with a shower facility, so if you need to use this after class you are more than welcome, but bare in mind there is only one so we ask you to keep showers short.

We have a tap in the kitchen where you can fill up your water if needed.

Q4: Do you have mat and towels to rent?

A; We have mats available to use free of charge, we will have towels in the future for rent but not just yet.

Q5: What if I forget my water, how will I cope?

A: Don’t stress, we have a few cups available and you can fill your water up in the kitchen.

Q6: I’m a regular hot yogi and your classes suit me, what’s the best package deal?

A: Our ‘new to the studio’ package is the best deal we have got! Even if you have done lots of hot yoga in the past. 3 classes for the price of 2 is a great way to start. After that we’d suggest our 5 class pass (The Flirt 😏) which expires after 10 weeks. Then if you are using that up quickly we’d suggest our 10 class pass (Committed 😍) which gives you 3 months / 12 weeks to use it.

Q7:Where is your studio?

A: Between Keanes Deli and Bluebell and Willow Boutique there is a little lane that leads to our premises. We share the building with iCycle (so if we haven’t got our window stickers up by the time you come, look for theirs)

Q8: Is there parking?

A: Unfortunately not, and sometimes the village can be busy - so keep this in mind and make sure to leave plenty of time. There is a pay and display car park at the bottom of the road (where the main junction is) and street parking available. There are often traffic wardens about the place so please be considered with your parking.

Q9: What if I am running late?

A: Unfortunately we can’t let in late commers that are more than 5 minutes late, and the door will be locked. This is so the class isn’t disrupted and we don’t let out any of that sweet heat as we build up the temperature. The classes are all curated and the warm ups are important, so we don’t want you missing out on that.

New to hot yoga?

Q1: Any class recommendations for your first time?

A: Absolutely! We suggest diving into the Hot Yoga Classic 26&2 for the OG experience or easing into the Hot Yoga Flow Slower if you prefer taking it slow.

Q1: first class prep suggestions?

A: Stay hydrated and be mindful of when you eat before class! Opt for a light snack a couple of hours before. You don’t need to rush out and for a yoga gear haul at the start yet—grab a big towel, a mat if you have one (we've got spares), and some water.

Q2: What's the ideal arrival time?

A: Fashionably early works wonders if you are new! The studio opens 15 minutes before class, for your first class if you can aim to be there 15 minutes before your class start time you can chat with your instructor, get accustomed to the heat, and get comfortable with the space before we start.

Q3: Any advice for newbies during class?

A: Take it easy, take breaks, and breathe through your nose for a cooling effect. Stay in the room—master that on your first class, and you'll find future classes a lot easier. All you have to do is breathe and stay in the room, the postures and stamina will come in no time.

Q4: You say stay in the room, but what if I feel like I am going to combust?

A: Your teachers are pretty experienced and haven’t seen anyone miraculously burst into flames so far on their hot yoga journey… so we don’t think this is going to happen to you.

We will always encourage you to stay in the room, as the sense of achievement you get of pushing through when things get hard is the best thing ever, and that final savasana when the cool air breezes in is worth it. If the class gets hard, do less, less moving, less postures, sit or lie down and see if that feeling passes.

Of course we can not force you and won’t block the door (it doesn’t go with the relaxing vibes)- so if you need to leave (and its that or throw your water bottle at the teacher) we will honour that. Rather than leaving through the front door, the kitchen is a cooler spot so you could sit in there for a few minutes and join back in when you can.
